Philippine Tourism The tourism started to come during the 1970's and 1980's, but in the mid 1980's, the growth of tourism in the philippines started slowing down.. About 1.2million tourists came to visit the philippines in 1992, that was a record high number of tourists since 1989. In 2003 it totaled to 2.8million and in 2007 it totaled to 3.4million.. The philippines brought the tourists around the place in Jeepneys, Taxis, Buses and on Tricycles which is a motorbike with a carriage on the side of it so that you sit in it.
Housing The Traditional philippine house is the bahay kubo which is like a hut and people today live in a normal house.
Employment In the City Areas people are mostly employed in types of businesses and in the rural areas people are mostly employed in fishing and farming such as rice farms.
Flora Bamboo, Roses, Palm Trees, Aloe Vera, Orchids and Alot more other plants. Fauna Monkeys, Eagles, Crocodiles and Different Species of Spider and alot of other different kinds of animals.
Dances The popular dances are Singkil, Tinikling and Carinosa. Instruments The traditional instrument is Kulintang.
Resources The philippines have resources such as wood, steel, bamboo, salt, gold, silver and nickel.
